Many of ideas here may seem very obvious.
Google Ads: If you have a website and don't mind adverts there is nothing like Google Ad Sense. O.k. every site seems to have them on, that is because they work. It is not much of a payout but if your site gets a certain amount of traffic it is daft not to have them on there. I think they add to the interest of the website as the ads are served which are relevant to the site as Google has already found out what the site is about so the adverts are targeted and fit in with your content.
Ebay: This must be the most obvious idea ever! Don't fall into the trap of selling stuff which will only make £2 or so, the commission will finish that one off! Also a paypal premier account saps out commission and unless you want to get credit card payments from your own website it is better to stick to a basic account. If you know what you are doing it is well worth the effort. It is important to get the postage right though or you could be sending stuff out at cost, bugging the buyer for more money could prove embarrassing. There are optimum times to have your auction end, in the middle of the day is not much good as there are not many people around then.

Amazon: Many people just buy from Amazon, but don't forget that if you get fed up with your purchase you can put it back on there for sale. As Amazon always charge too much for postage you are bound to make on anything sold. Many people just go for the lowest price item. Quite often it is possible to find stuff you already have, guide books etc. and list them for a quick sale. Although some best seller novels should be avoided, some going for 55p!! At a rough guide don't list anything for less than £4

Paypal: Did you know that paypal run an affiliate scheme? They promise big payouts. It's worth having the link to see if it works though? Go to paypal (sign up if you don't have an account!) and look for "referrals"
